Lacing for Framing

Lacing isn't pretty or decorative, but when done well, it supports your stitching and protects it for many, many years to come. It straightens skewed pieces and holds them taut so that mats and framing can be added without harming your work. It also allows for your work to be repurposed without harm should the wish arise. Lacing is a very old tradition and I am proud to be able to keep it alive.
